Valtris Specialty Chemicals announces significant expansion in the production capacity of its benzyl derivatives in Europe
Independence, OH – Valtris Specialty Chemicals is investing significantly to add additional production capacity at both of its Advanced Organics sites in Europe, at Tessenderlo, Belgium and Maastricht, Netherlands.
“Following the acquisition of INEOS ChloroToluenes in August last year, we have created a global business unit that builds on our existing benzyl chloride production at Bridgeport, NJ. In order to meet growing market demand for chlorotoluene derivatives, we are pleased to show further commitment to this industry and our customers by investing for long term growth,” says Paul Angus, CEO Valtris Specialty Chemicals.
The expansions are expected to be fully completed by the end of the first quarter 2020.
