James joined Valtris in 2023 as CFO and is responsible for the overall strategic leadership of the global Finance team including FP&A, IT, Tax & Treasury, and Finance/Accounting.

With over 20 years of experience leading Finance in a range of industries, a number in the private equity environment, James has demonstrated success as a transformational executive.

James earned his B.S. in Accounting & Corporate Finance from Northeastern Illinois University and his MBA from the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management and several executive programs at the Kellogg School of Management. James is veteran having served for 22 years with the United States Air Force. Throughout his career he has had positions of increasing responsibility A.T. Cross, Unilever, Citi Group, Tempur-Pedic, Alloyd Brands and the UCI-Fram Group.
